Released to celebrate the inaugural VALORANT Champions tournament held in Berlin from December 1 to 12, 2021, which was won by Acend. 50% of net proceeds were split equally among the 16 participating teams. The bundle raised over US$7.5 million for pro teams midway through the event. The karambit features a black, white, and gold colorway with red accents following the Champions branding. It introduced the Champion's Aura, a gold glowing outline that activates when the player holds the most kills in the match (no ties), making it the first skin in VALORANT to visually reward in game performance in real time. Unlike the Reaver Karambit's single play inspect, the Champions 2021 Karambit has an infinite looping inspect animation that became one of its most praised features and a benchmark future karambits were measured against. The bundle also included a Champions Vandal whose inspect plays the official Champions anthem "Die For You" and a unique finisher that became instantly iconic. The collection was available only from November 24 to December 12 and has never returned to the rotating store or Night Market, making it one of the rarest skin sets in the game. The Champions 2021 Karambit directly influenced the design of the Reaver Karambit released the following year, with the Reaver 2.0 dev team stating they blended the Champions 2021 inspired flip animation with Reaver's signature telekinetic aura.
