The first ever Champions weapon skin in VALORANT history, released to celebrate the inaugural VALORANT Champions tournament in Berlin (December 1 to 12, 2021), won by Acend. The Vandal features a predominantly gold, black, and white design with a touch of red, with the word "CHAMPIONS" written prominently on the side of the weapon. Structurally, it is very similar to the default Vandal and does not have unique reload or equip animations, which was an intentional design choice. A dev commented on Reddit that "we very much went with this skin having features that celebrate greatness and aspirational play, much like being a champion. That's why so much is tied to frags." One player described it as "a default Vandal going super saiyan 3 when you, the player, goes super saiyan 3 in an actual game," to which the dev responded "I LOVE the super saiyan comparison! Never thought to compare it to that, but it works!" The skin introduced the Champion's Aura, a gold highlight that activates when the player is the top fragger, causing the "CHAMPIONS" text to glow. Inspecting the weapon plays the instrumental version of "Die For You" by Grabbitz, the first ever official VALORANT Champions anthem. The finisher is widely considered one of the best in the game: a black sphere appears with a VCT symbol throwing out electric bolts while the anthem plays. If the player walks into the sphere while inspecting and looks up, the sky turns red and a giant Brimstone appears holding the weight on his shoulders, recreating a scene directly from the music video. Features 4 upgrade levels: Level 1 custom model, Level 2 VCT symbol muzzle flash, Level 3 finisher and kill banner, Level 4 Champion's Aura. No color variants. 50% of net proceeds were split equally among the 16 participating teams. The bundle generated US$18.7 million in total revenue during its 20 day availability, with each team receiving approximately US$585,000. Available only from November 24 to December 12, 2021.
